Recording studiosSites that are commercially desirable for recording studios, are often not excellent from a technical standpoint. Sources of magnetic fields are most common in built-up, inner-city areas. However, both urban and rural sites can present their own unique problems.
Mitigating the effects of pre-existing field sources that are outside of a site’s control can be a very expensive business. The cost of measures to reduce the effects of field sources can vary hugely depending on the directionality, strength and number of field sources.
For new projects, we normally recommend a pre-site survey as early on in the life of a new project as possible. Existing sites can also develop problems as installed equipment and infrastructure ages, or is updated.
